Global Architectural Metals, established in 1992, offers Builders complete contract glazing services. With offices and plant centred in the Niagara Peninsula, Welland, Ontario we offer in house design, engineering and fabrication services. Our recent partnering with Building Value Corporation has facilitated opportunities for expansion and growth along with the support of a group of interrelated companies servicing the building envelope.

Global carries and produces curtainwall, windows, entrances and wall panels using recognized national system manufacturers such as Kawneer and Oldcastle Engineered Products as well as internally developed systems. Global acquired Lord & Burnham Skylights and for the past 18 years has provided sloped and skylight glazing systems of any type imaginable. We are a provider of ornamental stainless steel panels, column covers and numerous handrail and balustrade assemblies with most work being done in house. Global has extensive experience when it comes to interior glazing applications of partitions, doors and decorative glass. We are truly a one stop destination for the exterior and interior glass and glazing fit up for the building industry. We are equally comfortable in the roles of supplier and installer as best fits the project's needs.

While traditionally serving the Canadian and American markets, Global has also completed extensive works in Europe. We have supplied and installed products in Germany, Poland, France, England and Russia. Our products and designs have successfully met European specifications.

Global's strong, proficient management and committed staff are able to bring the highest standards of quality to each project. Whether the design is traditional or complex, we will actively participate with the building design team or developer from inception to completion of a project.

Global also has extensive experience in design assist projects. Most recent examples of this approach include (1) AeroCentre V Office Building, Mississauga, Ontario, Vanbots Construction; (2) Centennial Place, Calgary, Alberta, PCL Construction; (3) Ritz Carlton Hotel & Residences, Toronto, Ontario, Ellis Don Corporation; (4) UTSC (KIP project), Scarborough, Ontario, Ellis Don Corporation.
